The Northern Beaches day course is run along Manly Beach. During the day course participants will move, explore and compose unique landscapes taking in the local scene and activity of the area. We will move to Cabbage Tree Baths and also to Shelly Beach where we will expand on the techniques taught thus far. Then onto Manly Cove where we will shoot the calm waters and boats and explore the new craze of digital panoramic's.

During the day should the swell be kind enough we will also cover the principles and skills behind shooting surf images.

Come the evening we will assess the best location for our sunset set shoot where we will put all the days technical and theory into practice.

This course ideal for beginners and amatures looking to develop a solid understanding on how to use their camera, it's functions and to consistantly take quality photographs that are perfectly exposed and sharp.

During the Northern Beaches Course students will be showen presentations on the apple iPad that will further illustrate and explain techniques discussed on the day. How images have been shot and processed in and around the area on past courses and also on my own personal shooting of the area.

This form of traning is excellent as there are times when a picture or video and tell a thousand words and at times.

On booking your course with me you will be emailed the courses 40 page work booklet that will give you a heads up on what will be covered and expanded upon on the day and will be an excellent point of reference when the course is complete. The booklet also covers topics not possible to cover on the day like night photographer.

Your student account on the Rubbing Pixels site will be created so you can watch tutorials on how images are put together that will be shot on the day. This is another valuable tool in your pre course and post course development.
