From there we will head into the lab and cover the steps and processes to image development using programs such as Photoshop and Lightroom to maximize the potential of your image.
We will take your image from production to being print ready and then print your image. While also discussing the importance of colour management and colour accurate printing. On booking this course your Rubbing Pixels membership will be created. It will be important for beginners to watch the tutorials to give yourself an understanding of the application.

To undertake this course is no different than the skill level of any of my other courses. You don't need any what so ever. The course is designed to start off at any level you want and to go from there.
As this course covers image editing using applications like Photoshop, Lightroom or Photoshop Elements it would be advisable to own or have access to software like that to maxamise the learning you will get from the day. We recommend that prior to attending the course that you take advantage of your free 6 months subscription to Rubbing Pixels and familarise yourself with the program your using.
This course is quite popular for people who are interested in wanting to learn how to shoot slide film on their 35mm or 617 panoramic cameras.

The Two Day Workshop just like our group courses are perfect for beginners to professional photographers. This course will cover the basics of camera set up and functions through to detailed image capture techniques.
The beauty of this course is that you have the opportunity to shoot two "Magic Hour" light situations where the colour and quality of light is at it's best and shooting this kind of light is what people have the most difficulty mastering.
Splitting the course into two days like this gives you the chance to shoot two both sunrise and sunset and then to edit both the sunset and sunrise images on day two.
Due to the length of the course it gives us a lot of time to focus on getting you up to speed with your shoot and to explore more advanced concepts of the image capture workflow for editing in programs like Photoshop."
