Beautiful lookouts to secret waterfalls
The Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains is a popular day trip for Sydney goers who want to get away from the noise and traffic of the city. About an hours drive from Sydney this area offers a wide range of photographic opportunities no matter what the weather has to offer.
The above photo is of Hanging Rock, I had seen several photo's of it on line but to my best efforts I could never find it other than knowing it is near Blackheath. So one day I set out to find it and after a long walk along a track I guessed it could be on I finally found it and to be honest this photo doesn't to it justice. The drop below makes your knees go wobbly. Apparently the tip of the outcrop has fallen away which is such a shame, just like the main sandstone stackseen at the 12 Apostles lookout they give way after time and I'm sure a dramatic change to environmental conditions plays a part as well.

Blue Mountains - Weekend Course
Dust off your camera gear and hold on for a course unlike any other offered.
Set in the magical Blue Mountains just outside of Sydney this two days course is all inclusive of accommodation, meals, transport and instruction. We will shoot all day in among the dense vivid green forests and waterfalls and then to the rocky out crops on sunset. We will explore the botanical gardens of Mt Wilson and the Garden of Ferns. Our trip will be governed by the weather, but no matter what each type of weather rain or sun shine brings with it brilliant factors for capturing photographs worthy of being printed as big as you can get them...

Keeping in line with traditional techniques, selected images from the gallery have been made into black and white. Dark sky's in the shots are the result from using red filters as illustrated in the shot above.
Other filter types used in the black and white gallery are yellow, blue and green resulting in different contrasts and shadow depths etc.
