Expiry Gift Certificates ?
On the expiry of a course gift certificate it is up to our discression if the certificate can still be used. Certificates are valid for 12 months. Courses can be booked past the expiry date, but the certificate need to be used by the date on the certificate. Following up on course booking dates and the use of gift certificates prior to them expiring is up to the purchaser and not Matt Lauder Photography.
Refunds ?
On booking our courses we supply you with course pre reading material and access to the Rubbing Pixels website. Should you seek a refund a non refundable amount of $220 is held to cover the cost of intellectual property and administration expenses. This cost is per person nominated attending the course. Should we cancel a course due to illness we will offer full refunds on the course, should you not wish to re book.
Changing course dates once booked ?
If there are positions available on the course you want to undertake and your course is not already booked out then we are happy for you to change dates without any fee.
Borrowing Equipment ?
On the day we are happy for students to borrow camera equipment belonging to Matt Lauder, we even encourage it. With items such as tripods it might be a case of sharing with other students, even if you notified us at the time of booking the course that you needed one.
Weather Cancellations ?
If the course is cancelled due to adverse weather where we deam the learning objectives will not be able to be met or it will put the safety of students at risk then we may re schedual the day if available to do so or students can book on other course dates. We do not offer full refunds on weather cancellations. Though you can still ask for a refund based on our terms and conditions for refunds.
Damage to property / Personaly Injury ?
During the course student will be required to walk to various shooting locations. If personal photo equipment is damaged while on course or students hurt themselves, we are not responsible. All of our locations are safe and we do not enougrage or put students at locations of risk.
Sydney Based Private Courses ?
Sydney based private courses can be run in and around the Sydney City area and includes the Northern Beaches area up to Newport, Eastern Beaches as far as Maroubra.
Course participants 6 - 8 max.
The course is set in and around Circular Quay where we visit many of the common lookouts and also some tucked away special places. Shoot the city on sunset and the lights of Luna Park.

Explore the gems of the Central Coast like the Skillion, Avoca Beach, The Haven, Wamberal, Spoon Bay to name a few. Then settle in and take in sunset and put the days knowledge to full effect.

Visit hidden away places in this world heritage listed photographers paradise. Capture ancient waterfalls, wide open canyons and then settle in and shoot the Three Sisters on sunset. Transport is provided.
Matt is a full time landscape, surf and aerial photographer based on the Central Coast and has been in the industry for over a decade. He currently runs his own professional canvas and photo printing and framing lab which handles all his own work and it is also open to the public to use as well.
