Course Terms and Conditions

Firstly thank you for your interest in booking a course with us. The following are the terms and conditions that apply with the booking of your course.

1. All course bookings for private courses are valid for 12 months from the date of the booking.

2. All courses booked as gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of the booking being made that is also indicated on the gift certificate.

3. With all course bookings due to access being granted to online video tutorials on the Rubbing Pixels web site and the valuable intellectual information contained in our course booklet that is emailed out, any course cancellations / requests for refunds to courses booked will draw a $160 non refundable fee of the course cost per person that has been provided the course material. All refunds will also attract a $30 administration fee to cover merchant and bank fees, costs and charges applied to your initial booking.

4. Students who are booked on a group course and who are un able to make it on the day due to personal circumstances are able to re book on another course with no additional costs, though they are no longer entitled to ask for a course refund and notification must be given 7 days prior to the course starting.

5. Students who are booked on a private course and who are unable to make it on the day due to person circumstance are able to rebook their day with no additional costs, though they are no longer entitled to ask for a course refund and notification must be given 12 hours prior to the course starting.

6. Should your course be cancelled by Matt Lauder Photography due to adverse weather or personal reasons you are entitled to a course refund minus the amount outlined in point (3). If you are happy to re book on another course you have 12 months from the date of the course that was cancelled to re book.

7. Students who have cancelled their course or it has been cancelled due to adverse weather are required to book into the next course they wish to attend via the web site.

8. Following up on course booking dates and the use of gift certificates prior to them expiring is up to the purchaser and not Matt Lauder Photography.

9. If a gift certificate expires or a course booking as lapsed 12 months Matt Lauder Photography reserves the right to not honor the certificate or booking request.

10. Sydney Private courses are run in and around the Sydney City area and includes the Northern Beaches area, Eastern Beaches as far as Maroubra.

11. Course cancellations due to adverse weather is weather that is deemed unsuitable for the course to be run comfortably, safely and the objectives of the course being met. Such conditions include constant rain / showers, high wind. Cancellation notification of this kind can be at short notice due to weather changes over night and it is the responsibility of the course participant to provide Matt Lauder Photography with a current contact able number for the day.
